There have been no further reports of damage. Yesterday, crews experienced a very productive day, making significant progress and advancing 100-150 feet inward on the eastern side of the fire. The fire continues to burn deeply and intensely in some interior areas due to the dry weather conditions. Crews are utilizing infrared scanners to detect heat sources, allowing them to focus their efforts. They are also addressing potential hazards, including hot spots, ash pits, and trees with root systems compromised by the fire.

Firefighters, heavy machinery operators, out-of-province ground crews, and air support teams from the Provincial Department of Natural Resources (DNR) continue to advance efforts, moving inward from the perimeter.
We are deeply grateful for the assistance provided by the 77 fire departments across the province, and we also recognize the continued involvement of all those participating in these ongoing efforts.
